SOLAR ENERGY

Switch Off: Students are encouraged to conserve energy by switching off electrical products when they are not in use. This includes lights, fans, airconditioners, heaters and computers. Solar panels are also located in the Kaa Kaa (Kookaburra) and Early Childhood Dijidi-Dijidi (Willy Wagtail) Blocks

WATER WISE/COMMUNITY GARDEN 

Water stored in the rainwater tank is used to keep the community garden watered with the use of watering cans to assist.
Students are encouraged to restrict the amount of water they use in all activities.

WASTE WISE

Food scraps which fit the requirements for composting are used in our Compost Tumblers and Worm Farms to produce compost to use in the gardens.
